  • BIOGRAPHY

    David Paulaskas is a Project Manager in MBRE’s Project Services division who brings over 20 years of experience in commercial construction and project management to the team. David is responsible for construction management for the team’s cultivation, healthcare, office and laboratory projects.

    During his career, David has completed more than 50 projects totaling more than 1M SF and valued at $500M. This includes a number of successful ground-up developments, such as a new 383,000 SF 192-bed inpatient tower and diagnostics suite for Advocate Aurora Health, a 150,000 SF 75-bed inpatient tower, diagnostics, and remote laboratory and outpatient services space for AMITA Health Alexian Brothers Medical Center, and a 96,000 SF surgical pavilion, sterile processing department, and sterile and general hospital supply department for Presence Health.

    David has also overseen construction management for a number of laboratory projects, including the ground-up development of the General Board of Pension and Health Benefits’ 110,000 SF headquarters, a 10,500 SF main hospital laboratory renovation for Advocate Aurora Health, as well as upgrades to Advocate Aurora Health’s 12,000 SF main hospital pharmacy.

    Prior to joining MBRE, David was a Project Executive for Krusinski Construction Co. and The Walsh Group where he specialized in overseeing construction for healthcare projects and pursing new business. Earlier in his career, David was a Senior Construction Manager for Advocate Aurora Health, and a Project Manager for Power Construction and Leopardo Construction. David received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from University of Illinois at Chicago.
