Brian Toenjes Promoted to VP

MB REAL ESTATE PROMOTES TOENJES TO VP OF PROJECT SERVICES CHICAGO – August 21, 2017 – MB Real Estate (MBRE) announced today that Brian Toenjes has been promoted to vice president of the Chicago-based real estate services firm’s Project Services department.
“This is a fitting acknowledgement of Brian’s significant contribution to the success of Project Services,” stated David Graff, EVP of the department. “Brian joined us in 2009 and has more than 20 years of experience in construction and development services. Over the past eight years he has managed construction of more than two million square feet, or $450 million, of projects.”
Toenjes has been involved in multiple key projects across the country for Astellas Pharma US, including its Northbrook headquarters. In addition, his experience includes General Board, Conyers medical office development near Atlanta, the University of Chicago Medical Center for Advanced Care in Orland Park and most recently, Southeastern Spine Institute in South Carolina. His redevelopment highlights include CPS’ headquarters in the loop, Medline’s headquarters, and the Chicago Jewish Day School’s new campus in Irving Park.
Toenjes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Bradley University.
Project Services is currently responsible for the development of more than $300 million worth of commercial, life sciences, healthcare, education, and asset projects.
