CHICAGO, December 8, 2009—MB Real Estate announced today three new, long-term leases totaling 140,000 square feet at One North Dearborn, an 884,004 square foot office and retail building in Chicago’s Central loop.
“The brokerage community recognizes the excellent value to their clients at One North Dearborn,” stated MB Real Estate Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Leasing Services Gary Denenberg.
“The central location, combined with the large floor plates and high ceilings, make the building attractive to many tenants,” added MB Real Estate Executive Vice President of Asset Management Kevin Purcell.
Following are the three most recent lease transactions:
- Adler School of Professional Psychology signed a new lease for 101,000 square feet on the 15 th and 16 th floors. They plan to relocate to One North Dearborn from the East Loop in the third quarter of 2010. Scott Becker and Phil Utigard of Transwestern represented Adler.
- Vangent, Inc. signed a 23,000 square foot lease on the 11 th floor of One North Dearborn. Vangent is relocating within the building and plans to move into the new space on April 1. Vangent was represented by Steve Hubberman, Robert Sevim, and Richard Schuham of Studley, Inc.
- NCS Pearson, Inc. signed a 16,000 square foot lease on the 10 th floor of One North Dearborn. NCS Pearson is relocating within the building and plans to move into the new space on April 1. They were represented by Peter Block of Grubb & Ellis and Robert J. DeAngelis of Berzine & Co.
The 17-story building, which is home to the 250,000 square foot State Street Sears, Roebuck and Co. department store, is owned by New York-based The Chetrit Group and is currently managed by MB Real Estate.
